Made to order and dispatched in 14 days, then typically 5–7 days in transit with DHL or Aramex. Every shipment is insured for its full value and tracked. Customs duties, where they apply, are paid by the recipient on arrival.
Returns 7 days on unpersonalised pieces
Catalogue pieces without initials can be returned unused within 7 days of delivery. Pieces carrying initials or made as a commission are final sale. A catalogue order can be cancelled for a full refund at any point before dispatch.
Guarantee One year, materials & workmanship
If something is wrong with the making of the piece in its first year, we repair, replace or refund it, with return shipping at our cost.
The Santos is not a chest. It is a trunk — a standing piece of furniture that happens to make coffee, built at the scale of a drinks cabinet rather than a countertop object.
It takes longer to make than anything else we produce. It is also the piece we are asked about most and sell least, which is as it should be. If you are considering one, write to us before you order and we will talk it through properly.

The chest is cut to this machine. It is included in the price and fitted before the piece leaves us — there is nothing to assemble.
Care
Wipe the leather with a dry, soft cloth. For a mark, use a barely damp cloth and dry it immediately — never soap, never solvent.
Lift dust from the Alcantara lining with a soft brush.
The leather will darken a little with age and handling. That is the material behaving correctly, not a fault.
