THE AUTOMOTIVE GALLERY

There is a car in the room

At the centre of The Edition Space sits a 964 Carrera RS in silver. It is not a prop, and it is not a permanent fixture. It is the argument for everything on the shelves around it — and, if you ask, it is for sale.

A silver Porsche 964 RS strapped to a spanner beam and lifted by spider crane inside Dubai Hills Mall at night
The car arrived at two in the morning, on a spanner beam, through a closed mall. Four hours, one spider crane, and a floor loading calculation nobody enjoyed doing.

Why a car

Because it explains the shop faster than we can. The 964 RS is the lightest, least comfortable and most deliberate 911 Porsche built at the time — stripped of everything that was not doing work, with cloth where other cars have leather, and better for it. Somebody made a long series of restraint decisions thirty years ago and every one of them has aged well.

Stand next to it, then pick up a Pepita watch case. That is the whole brand argument, and it takes about four seconds.

The car changes

The gallery is not a museum. Each car stays for a season and is then replaced by another — a different marque, a different decade, the same temperament. When one leaves, it leaves because somebody bought it.

The next car is already being discussed. If there is something you would like to see standing in the room, tell us; we have taken suggestions before and acted on them.

Enquire about the car

Condition report, history file, provenance and price are shared privately with serious enquiries. We are not a dealership and we do not advertise a figure — we would rather have the conversation.

COMING SOON

The Gallery capsule

A small run of heavy-grade cotton T-shirts and caps, drawn from the cars that pass through the room and from the Elemento mark itself. Made to the same standard as everything else here, which is to say properly — combed cotton, boxed, and not very many of them.

  • T-shirts — heavyweight combed cotton, boxed fit, car-silhouette and wordmark prints
  • Caps — structured six-panel, embroidered mark, leather strap
  • Numbered — each design tied to the car it was drawn from, and retired when that car leaves

Register your interest and we will write to you before the first run goes on sale — it will not be a large one.
