Terms of service
These terms govern your use of elementoedition.com and any purchase you make from it. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to them.
Throughout, “Elemento”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Elemento Edition Trading L.L.C S.O.C, trading as Elemento Edition. “You” means the person using the site or placing the order.
1. Using this site
You must be of legal age in your jurisdiction to place an order. You may not use the site for any unlawful purpose, interfere with its operation, or introduce harmful code. We may refuse or cancel an order, or withdraw access to the site, where these terms are breached.
2. Our pieces
Every piece is made by hand to order. Leather, textile and Alcantara are natural and woven materials: grain, colour and pattern vary between hides and between rolls, and no two pieces are identical. Photography on this site is representative, and screens render colour differently. This variation is a property of the materials, not a defect.
Materials shown in The Material Library are subject to availability at the time of order. If a material you have specified is unavailable, we will contact you before beginning work.
3. Personalisation and bespoke commissions
Initials, monograms and other personalisation are applied exactly as supplied by you. Please check spelling and character order carefully before confirming; we cannot correct or refund an error in the text you provide.
Personalised and bespoke pieces cannot be returned for a change of mind. See our Refund policy.
4. Prices, tax and payment
Prices are shown in the currency selected at checkout and may change without notice, though a change will never affect an order already accepted. Payment is taken in full at the time of order.
Elemento Edition Trading L.L.C S.O.C is registered for Value Added Tax in the United Arab Emirates under Tax Registration Number 105075573300003. Any applicable VAT is shown at checkout. Customs duties and import taxes in the destination country are not included and are payable by the recipient.
5. Orders
Your order is an offer to buy. It is accepted when we confirm it by email. We may decline an order — for example where a piece or material is unavailable, where a price or description was wrong, or where we suspect fraud — and in that case we refund any payment in full.
6. Delivery
Dispatch and transit times, carriers, insurance and customs are set out in our Shipping policy. Times given are estimates made in good faith and are not guaranteed dates.
7. Warranty
Every piece is covered for one year from delivery against defects in materials and workmanship. Ordinary wear from use is not covered. Full terms are set out in Care & Warranty.
8. Returns and refunds
Set out in full in our Refund policy, which forms part of these terms.
9. Intellectual property
The Elemento name, marks, designs, photography and site content belong to us and may not be copied, reproduced or used commercially without our written permission.
10. Content you send us
If you send us comments, images, reviews or ideas, you grant us permission to use, edit and publish them without obligation or payment, and you confirm they are yours to send. We may remove such content at any time.
11. Personal information
Your personal information is handled as described in our Privacy policy.
12. Third-party links and tools
The site may link to or use services operated by others. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or practices. Your use of them is at your own risk.
13. Errors
Descriptions, prices and availability on the site may occasionally contain errors. We may correct them, and may cancel an affected order and refund it in full, at any time before dispatch.
14. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Subject to that, our total liability in connection with any order is limited to the amount you paid for it, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published on this page at the time you place your order.
16. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai. The courts of Dubai have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
